LeBron James Signs With the Philadelphia 76ers: What It Means for the NBA

LeBron James just signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a 2 year, $8 million deal. This signing of James now puts the 76ers in championship or bust territory. They have everything they need to compete for a championship with 2 elite scoring all stars in Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown, VJ Edgecombe whose coming off a stellar rookie season, and an elite big in Joel Embiid, now they add LeBron who can play the only position they were missing at power forward.

On paper this team is elite and probably the best starting 5 in the league, but the troubles come with the health of their star big man Joel Embiid. If Embiid can stay healthy for just this one season it's a possible championship, but history will tell you he hasn't been able to stay healthy since joining the league. This team could be a huge problem for the rest of the league of healthy.

This is an elite starting 5 with elite scoring and now elite playmaking. Offensively it's going to be hard to stop them and what they bring to the team, they have solid defenders, they have everything they need to win a championship, now it's up to them to go out there and play. It's going to be a very exciting season for the 76rrs for sure, and I'm excited to see what they can do.
